In the 2025/26 season, Miezis will begin playing for Ulaanbaatar Energy. His achievements include gold medals from the 2020 Olympic Games, silver and bronze medals from World Championships, as well as one gold and three silver medals earned at European Championships. Additionally, he was recognized as the Most Valuable Player at one of the Grand Slam tournaments.
At the opening of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Miezis had the honor of carrying the Latvian flag, alongside volleyball player Tina Graudina.
