Kazuyoshi Miura, who is now 58 years old, has decided to continue his performances on the football field for another year, reports Japan Today.

In the new season, he will be a player for the club "Fukushima United," representing the third division of the Japanese football championship. This will be Miura's 41st season in professional football.

Kazuyoshi began his career in 1986, and during his time on the field, he has played for numerous teams in various countries. His career includes clubs such as the Brazilian "Santos," the Italian "Genoa," the Australian "Sydney," the Croatian "Dinamo" Zagreb, and several Japanese teams, including "Verdy Kawasaki," "Vissel Kobe," and "Yokohama."

Additionally, Miura represented the Japanese national team, playing 89 matches and scoring 55 goals, leaving a significant mark in the history of Japanese football. His decision to continue his career at such a mature age underscores his remarkable longevity and dedication to the game.
