From January 18 to 24, 2026, Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, will host the Youth World Ice Hockey Championship for players under 20 years old (IIHF Division III-B). This information was provided by the Ice Hockey Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
All tournament matches will take place at the multifunctional arena "Bishkek Arena." Teams from Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong (China) will participate in the competition.
Over the course of a week, teams will play a series of matches, after which the champion and prize winners of the tournament will be determined. The U20 competition format is renowned for its dynamism and spectacle — young hockey players demonstrate impressive speed and a high level of training.
