On December 27, the national taekwondo (WT) championship took place in Bishkek, during which the National team was formed.
The competitions were held at the Raatbek Sanatbaev Sports School and attracted around 100 participants. The championship featured 14 sets of medals contested among adult athletes.
The championship was conducted in two disciplines: sparring (Kyorugi) and basic forms (Poomsae). The judging panel consisted of judges of national and international level, using electronic equipment that meets world standards.
The event was organized by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Directorate for Olympic Sports. Athletes from all regions of Kyrgyzstan participated in the tournament.
