Recently, the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the names of the winners for 2025 in the field of non-Olympic sports. The award ceremony became a celebration for everyone who actively contributes to the development of these disciplines in the country, including athletes, coaches, and patrons.
Among the awardees:
— Best Athlete of the Year: Toktogonov Bekbolot (sambo).
— Best Female Athlete of the Year: Imankanova Dilbara Dalbaevna (mas-wrestling).
— Discovery of the Year among Men: Rozbaev Akhror Zakirzhanovich (kickboxing).
— Discovery of the Year among Women: Orozalieva Begimai (WKF karate).
— Patron of the Year: Talant Zhaichibekov.
— Best Coach of the Year: Kazakbaev Azamat (sambo).
This ceremony highlighted the high level of development of non-Olympic sports in Kyrgyzstan and served as an incentive for further promotion of an active lifestyle and sports initiatives among the youth.
