
From January 15 to 18, the Second Asian Chemistry Olympiad AChO 2026 took place in Bali, Indonesia, gathering participants from 12 countries and territories in Asia. Thousands of the most gifted students competed at levels A and B.
The Mongolian team, consisting of five students from "Sant" High School, demonstrated outstanding results, winning 1 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Chemistry Olympiad (AChO).
The gold medal in the 10-12 grade category was awarded to "Sant" High School student KHULAN Mönkhbayar.

Silver medals were awarded to ENKHJIN.B, ARIUNBOLOR.B, and TSOGTZUL.M, while the bronze medal was won by ANAND.G.
These results highlight the high academic preparation of Mongolian students and their confidence in participating in international competitions.
The 2026 Asian Chemistry Olympiad, organized by the Olympiad Coordination Center in STEM (OCSO), aims to develop 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication through scientific contests and examinations.
This international competition, conducted in English, is intended for students in grades 7-12 and provides participants with the opportunity to develop scientific thinking and apply chemical knowledge in an academic environment.
