Today, the mayor of the Osh region, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, officially opened the bridge on J. Shamsiyev Street after the completion of its major renovation. According to the press service of the mayor's office, the ceremony was attended by representatives of local authorities as well as residents of the city.

The bridge, which is 9 meters long and 21 meters wide, is now equipped with sidewalks on both sides, has green areas, installed irrigation ditches, and laid water supply pipes. The renovation also affected J. Shamsiyev Street itself, which was updated over a length of 600 meters, becoming a four-lane road expanded to 22 meters.

It is important to note that this bridge provides access to the Osh Regional Hospital and the entrance to the city, making traffic here quite busy. However, before the start of the works, this place had never been repaired. "During an on-site inspection, Mayor Toktorbaev instructed to widen and asphalt the road, which was carried out during the works, during which several buildings obstructing traffic were demolished. Thanks to these efforts, a modern and convenient road was built for the residents of the city," the mayor's office reported.

All work on J. Shamsiyev Street was fully funded by the local budget.
