About 100 young athletes from nine teams representing Bishkek, Aleksandrovka, and Kara-Balta participated in the competition.
The athletes from the Jayil Children's and Youth Sports School, trained by the new coach Syrgak Zhaparkulov, performed successfully at the tournament. Out of 20 participating students, most won prize places.
The first place in the category up to 38 kg was taken by Butobaev Zakir, who confidently conducted all his matches. Silver medals went to Zhaparkulov Erbol (up to 28 kg) and Melisov Almira (up to 45 kg). The bronze medalists were Kyzyrov Nurkhan and Sayipzhanov Ali (up to 34 kg), Urustenbekov Abubakir (up to 40 kg), Zuvurov Kadir (up to 58 kg), and Absatarov Erbolot (up to 73 kg).
The judging panel noted the good physical preparation of the team. All winners and prize holders were awarded diplomas and medals.
The award ceremony was also an important event for the students of Almaz Mambetov, a jiu-jitsu coach from the "Manas" sports complex and one of the tournament organizers. His team showed high results in various age and weight categories.
- Bronze medals were won by Argen Sharshenkhanov (U-16, 64 kg), Ali Akhmedov (U-16, 67 kg), Ruslan Shostak (2014, 35 kg), Ayazbek Kanybekov (2014, 40 kg), Hamza Aslanov (2013, 41 kg), Zagar Osmonov (2015, 49 kg), Kadir Kudayberdiev (U-16, 60 kg), as well as Anas Zholdoshev, Daniel Kerimbaev, and Nurislam Botosaitov.
- Silver medalists: Rami Aslanov (2018, 38 kg), Urmat Mergenov (U-16, 48 kg), Rinat Ibraimov (U-16, 56 kg), Shamo Osmonov (U-16, 74 kg), and Duishonaly uulu Ramazan (2014, 40 kg).
- Gold medals were awarded to Nurel Omurbekov (U-14, 44 kg), Ariet Zholdoshov (U-16, 63 kg), and Elmirek Sadyrbekov (2017, 43 kg).
Special attention at the award ceremony was given to the presentation of new colored belts for athletes who took first places and received the fourth stripe.
Gray belts were awarded to Nurel Omurbekov, Duishonaly uulu Ramazan, Shamo Osmonov, Daniel Kerimbaev, and Rinat Ibraimov.
Orange belts were received by Ariet Zholdoshov and Elmirek Sadyrbekov.
According to Almaz Mambetov, this tournament was an important stage of preparation for larger competitions, including the national jiu-jitsu championship, for which four of his athletes qualified.
