
The Kyrgyz wrestler won a medal in the weight category up to 72 kg
At the international ranking tournament in sports wrestling MUHAMET MALO–2026, held in Tirana, Razzak Beishekeev from Kyrgyzstan won bronze in the under 72-kilogram category, according to information from the National Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
Beishekeev began his path to the medal with a tense match, where he defeated the Russian Magomed Barakhoev by a narrow margin of 7:6. Next, the Kyrgyz wrestler confidently defeated another representative from Russia, Kamil Akhmetvaleev, with a score of 7:1.
In the semifinals, Beishekeev faced Kazakhstan's Nikolai Khapko and won the match with a result of 10:3. However, in the final match, he lost to the Iranian wrestler Mohammad Javad Rezaei, finishing the bout with a score of 1:5.
In the battle for third place, Beishekeev showed an impressive result, finishing the match against Kazakh athlete Almatbek Amanbek early with a score of 3:0, which earned him the bronze medal at this prestigious tournament.
