



A grand opening of a new multifunctional resource center for children with Down syndrome took place in Osh. This project was initiated by the charitable public foundation "Santerra-South," aimed at assisting in the social adaptation of children with special needs, supporting their families, and integrating them into society.
The event was attended by the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, who familiarized himself with the center's operations, interacted with the children and their parents, and participated in various activities.
In his speech, the mayor emphasized the importance of such social initiatives. Jenishbek Toktorbaev highlighted that supporting children with special needs and creating conditions for their full development is one of the key areas of the city's social policy.
According to the "Santerra-South" foundation, currently, more than 300 families from southern Kyrgyzstan are registered, among which 70 are residents of Osh. The center will provide support in developing life skills for children, as well as offer social, psychological, and informational assistance to parents.
