According to meteorologists' forecasts, on January 30, 2026, cloudy weather is expected in the eastern aimags from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. In the mountainous regions of Khentii and the plains of Dornod-Dariganga, light snow is possible, while in other parts of the country, there will be variable cloudiness without precipitation. Snow is not predicted during the day.
In the eastern part of the country, the wind will blow from the northwest, while in other areas it will be from the west, with a maximum speed of 4-9 meters per second. In the steppes of Dornod-Dariganga, the wind may strengthen to 12-14 meters per second.
In Ulaanbaatar, clear weather with a light breeze is expected. At night in the Yaarmag-Songino area, temperatures may drop to -29–31°C, in other regions to -21–23°C, while during the day the temperature will be -10–12°C.
