Compared to the same date in 2024, when this figure was 1 million 692 thousand 502 tons, the volume increased by 50,746.2 tons, which is a 3% increase.
The largest amount of milk was produced in the Chui region — 449.8 thousand tons. Significant volumes were also recorded in the Jalal-Abad region — 369.6 thousand tons, and the Osh region — 327.3 thousand tons.
In the Issyk-Kul region, the volume amounted to 268.6 thousand tons, in the Naryn region — 140.6 thousand tons, in the Batken region — 97.1 thousand tons, and in the Talas region — 72.0 thousand tons.
Production volumes in major cities remain traditionally low. In Bishkek, 8.3 thousand tons of raw milk were produced, and in Osh — 9.8 thousand tons.
Thus, rural regions, primarily the Chui, Jalal-Abad, and Osh regions, continue to make the main contribution to milk production in the country.
