At the ACA 198 event, 13 fights are scheduled.
In the co-main event of the evening, Herdeson Batista from Brazil will face his opponent Daud Shaikhaev from Russia. Batista, known for entering the ring in a kalpak for every fight, will be fighting for the interim lightweight championship title.
On January 8, the weigh-in ceremony took place, where Batista appeared without his traditional headgear but with the flags of Brazil and Kyrgyzstan combined together.
“I have many friends from different countries, including Kyrgyzstan. In Grozny, the support will mostly be on my opponent's side, but the brothers from Kyrgyzstan will help me. This inspires me,” Batista shared after the weigh-in.
Additionally, the tournament will feature Kyrgyzstani Manas Imarov (13-6), who will compete against Russian Arbi Aguev (39-13).
