In the ring in Saitama, 25-year-old Shaidullaev faced Japanese fighter Mikuru Asakura in the main event of the evening. The match ended early due to a technical knockout: the Kyrgyzstani took the initiative from the very beginning, controlling the situation on the ground and delivering strikes to his opponent, which led to the referee stopping the fight. Asakura, who sustained an injury, was forced to leave the ring on a stretcher.

This was Shaidullaev's second title defense in the Rizin FF featherweight division (up to 66 kg), and he now boasts an impeccable record in his professional career — 16 wins out of 16 fights.

For 33-year-old Asakura, this defeat was his first after two successful fights; his current statistics now include 19 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest.
