At the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, at the "Torugart" checkpoint, the head of the road traffic safety department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Naryn region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Nurbek Salymbaev, organized a meeting with drivers of heavy trucks heading from China to Kyrgyzstan along the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway.

As part of the event, with the assistance of customs officers and translators, drivers were informed about important aspects of adhering to traffic rules upon entering Kyrgyzstan. In particular, they were warned against driving into oncoming traffic, the necessity of maintaining distance, and avoiding driving "too close" to one another, especially at night. Drivers were also given handouts in Chinese, which were placed at the customs control point.

Additionally, explanatory conversations were held on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway with local and foreign drivers who create traffic jams and drive into oncoming lanes. They were reminded of the importance of maintaining road etiquette and mutual respect.
