The youth hockey team of Kyrgyzstan is actively preparing for the world championship for players under 20 years old.
The competition in Division 3B will take place from January 18 to 24 at the "Bishkek Arena," where six teams will compete in a round-robin tournament. The winning team will have the opportunity to compete in Division 3A next year.
Under the guidance of head coach Alexey Hakalo, the Kyrgyzstan team began preparatory training on January 1.
The preliminary squad consists of 36 hockey players, of whom 20 will be registered for the tournament.
During the preparation process, the team played several friendly matches against the national team of Kyrgyzstan.
In the previous world championship held in Thailand, the Kyrgyz team took second place.
