Kyrgyzstan Championship: "Toktogul" strengthened by defender of the Georgian national team

The football club "Toktogul," a newcomer to the Kyrgyzstan Premier League, has announced the signing of new players. Joining the team from the city of the same name is Georgian national team defender Solomon Kvirkvelia, as well as forward Eldar Moldojunusov from Kyrgyzstan.

33-year-old Kvirkvelia has played for various clubs throughout his career, including Kazan's "Rubin" (87 matches), Moscow's "Lokomotiv" (80 matches), Ukraine's "Metalist" (6 matches), Azerbaijan's "Neftchi" (33 matches), and Saudi Arabia's "Al-Uhdud" (33 matches).

The last team for the defender was the Georgian "Torpedo," where he played 18 matches and scored 2 goals.

While at "Lokomotiv," Kvirkvelia faced stars such as Fernando Torres, and at "Al-Uhdud," he went up against Cristiano Ronaldo and Roberto Firmino. He also played for the Georgian national team against Wales with Gareth Bale and Germany with Marco Reus and Thomas Müller.

Eldar Moldojunusov, the new forward for the team, previously played for Kochkor-Ata's "Neftchi" last season.

The presentation of the newcomers took place on January 14 in Bishkek, where Kvirkvelia received the number 33, and Moldojunusov received the number 10.
