AFC U-23 Cup: Jordan Keeps Kyrgyzstan's Hopes Alive for Playoff Qualification

The Kyrgyzstan national football team (U-23) continues to fight for a place in the playoffs of the Asian Youth Cup.

After two matches played in the group, the team led by Edmar Laserd has 0 points, having suffered two defeats: from Saudi Arabia (0:1) and Vietnam (1:2).

However, in another match of the second round, Jordan defeated Saudi Arabia with a score of 3:2, which gave the Kyrgyz team a chance to keep their hopes of advancing from the group.

In order to move forward, the Kyrgyzstan national team needs to crush Jordan in the last match and hope for a defeat of Saudi Arabia by Vietnam.

The final matches of the group stage will take place on January 12.
