The Kyrgyz national team played with one player less from the 34th minute, and in the 77th minute, goalkeeper Kurmanbek Nurlanbekov brilliantly saved a penalty.
In another match, Vietnam secured a victory over Jordan, finishing the game with a score of 2:0.
Thus, following the first round, both Vietnam and Saudi Arabia have 3 points, while Kyrgyzstan and Jordan remain without points.
The top two teams from the group will advance to the next stage of the tournament — the playoffs.
The matches of the second round will take place on January 9, where Kyrgyzstan will meet Vietnam.
