In the first match of the Asian Youth Cup, which is taking place in Saudi Arabia, the Kyrgyzstan national team (U-23) suffered a defeat.

In the first round of the group stage, the Kyrgyz footballers faced the team from Saudi Arabia.

In the 35th minute of the match, the referee from China, Fu Ming, after consulting the VAR system, sent off player Arsen Sharshenbekov. Later, in the 77th minute, he awarded a penalty against the Kyrgyz team.

Goalkeeper Kurmanbek Nurlanbekov managed to save the penalty shot, but in the 88th minute, the opponents finally scored, securing their victory.
