The Olympic team of Kyrgyzstan U-23 made its debut at the Asian Cup

In Jeddah at the Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, the first match of the Kyrgyzstan national team took place as part of the Asian Cup for U-23 teams, where they faced the tournament hosts — Saudi Arabia.

It is worth noting that the Kyrgyz team plays in Group "A" along with the teams of Jordan and Vietnam.

The match was held in a tense atmosphere. In the 34th minute, the referee showed a red card to Arsen Shershenbekov, leaving the Kyrgyzstan team with one player less. The first half ended without goals — 0:0.

In the 77th minute, the main referee awarded a penalty against the Kyrgyzstan team, but goalkeeper Kurmanbek Nurlanbekov demonstrated excellent reflexes and saved the shot. Unfortunately, in the 88th minute, the opponent managed to execute a successful attack and opened the scoring — 1:0. Despite the efforts of the Kyrgyz footballers, they were unable to equalize, and the match ended with a victory for Saudi Arabia.

Thus, the match concluded with a score of 1:0 in favor of the tournament hosts.
