An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 occurred in southern Kyrgyzstan, according to information provided by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences.

According to the institute's data, the tremors were registered on March 2 at 18:44.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 3 kilometers southwest of the village of Kok-Bel, 17 kilometers southwest of the village of Ketmen-Tobo, 20 kilometers northeast of the city of Kara-Kul, and 22 kilometers south of the district center Toktogul.

The intensity of the vibrations was about 3.5 points in Kok-Bel, while in Kara-Kul and Ketmen-Tobo the level reached 3 points.
