Two Earthquakes Felt by Kyrgyzstan Residents the Day Before

On the eve, the residents of Kyrgyzstan witnessed two earthquakes. The first one, with a magnitude of about 3 points, occurred on January 24 at 1:32 AM in the territory of the country. The second, which was stronger at 3.5 points, was recorded at 5:07 AM in the territory of Tajikistan, according to data from the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The first earthquake had its epicenter 2 kilometers northeast of the village of Terek-Suu and 4 kilometers southwest of the village of Sary-Bee, where its intensity was about 3 points.

As for the second earthquake, its focus was located in Tajikistan, 18 kilometers southeast of the village of Achyq-Suu and 33 kilometers southeast of the village of Kabyq. The intensity in the village of Achyq-Suu was also 3 points.
