
On March 19, in the capital, in one of the central districts, the supply of cold water will be temporarily suspended from 10:00 to 18:00. This was reported by the press service of the Bishkek City Hall.
The shutdown will affect residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, and other social infrastructure and industrial sites.
The area affected by the shutdown includes the following streets:
- the railway line — Frunze Street — Alamidin River — Panfilov Street;
- the railway line — Matrosov Street — Gorky Street — Gvardeysky Lane — Bektenov Street — Skryabin Street — Mavlyanov Street — April 7 Street.
The reason for the shutdown is the conduct of repair and preventive works at the "Kok-Djar" water intake.

The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" apologizes for any inconvenience and strongly recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
