On March 12, Bishkek is scheduled for a temporary drinking water outage. Water supply will be halted from 09:00 to 18:00, according to information from local authorities.
This measure will affect not only residential buildings but also schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, as well as other social and industrial facilities.
Specifically, the water outage will impact areas bounded by Dostoevsky, Ankara, and Auezov streets up to the railway line. The outage zone will also include residential areas of Altyn Ordo, Kara-Jyach, and the Police Town.
According to the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal," the outage is related to necessary repair and preventive work at the "Kontreserve" water intake and the city's water supply networks.
The company apologizes for any inconvenience and urges residents and organizations to stock up on drinking water in advance.
Capital residents are also recommended to install the "My City" app, which will allow them to receive notifications about scheduled and emergency water supply outages.
