As of January 1, 2025, according to updated population data following the administrative-territorial reform, the population of Kyrgyzstan is 7,281.8 thousand people.

This information was released by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

Of the total population, 3,037.3 thousand people live in cities, while 4,244.5 thousand reside in rural areas.

According to the data, the resident population is 6,607.1 thousand, of which the urban population is 3,000.7 thousand, and the rural population is 3,606.4 thousand.

Batken Region
