According to the report provided by the representative office of the Batken region, the total amount of coal mined in 2025 was 1 million 401 thousand tons.

The distribution of production volumes by districts is as follows:

In the Kadamjai district, 960 thousand tons of coal were mined from three deposits in the rural area of Maidan, which accounts for 68.5% of the total volume in the region.

In Suluktu, 46 coal mines produced 430.8 thousand tons of coal, which accounts for 30.7% of the total volume.

The Batken district reported a production of 46.6 thousand tons.

The Leilek district contributed an additional 3.2 thousand tons to the total amount.

It should be noted that there is a high demand for coal from Suluktu in the domestic market. However, coal mined at the Bel-Alma deposit, located in the Kadamjai district, is mainly supplied to the Osh and Jalal-Abad regions due to logistical peculiarities.
