In part of Bishkek, water will be turned off on February 26

From 09:00 to 20:00 on February 26, 2026, the supply of drinking water will be interrupted in Bishkek. Affected will be residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, as well as other social infrastructure and industrial facilities.

Water will not be supplied to the residential areas of Ak-Zhar, Ak-Bata, and Kelechek.

The reason for the shutdown is planned emergency repair work at the water intakes "Ak-Zhar" and "Ak-Bata".

MP "Bishkekvodokanal" expresses regret for any inconvenience and urges residents and organizations to stock up on drinking water in advance.
