In 2025, the total volume of Mongolia's foreign trade turnover amounted to 27,013.7 million US dollars, which is 384.5 million dollars (1.4%) less compared to the previous year. At the same time, the country maintained a positive trade balance, as exports exceeded imports by 4,389.4 million US dollars. The main part of the exports, namely 99.2%, consisted of mineral resources, including coal (both hard and brown), copper-molybdenum concentrates, fluorite, as well as iron and zinc ore and crude oil.
