February 2026 in Bishkek turned out to be the warmest in the entire history of meteorological observations

In Bishkek, February 2026 became the warmest month in the history of meteorological observations, according to data from the "Weather and Climate" website.

Previously, the record belonged to February 2021, when the average temperature was +3.9 degrees.

This year, the average temperature in February reached +6 degrees, which is 6.5 degrees above the climatic norm.

The lowest temperature was recorded on February 8, at −5.2 degrees, while February 19 was the warmest day of the month, when the temperature rose to +22.9 degrees.

New daily temperature records were also set during February.

The highest readings were registered on February 5 (+18.4 degrees), February 19 (+22.9 degrees), and February 20 (+19.6 degrees).

However, the absolute record for February remains with February 25, 2016, when the average daily temperature reached +25.4 degrees.
