Record snowfall in Moscow over the last 50 years
A record snowfall has occurred in Moscow, the likes of which have not been seen in the last 50 years. In just one day, the capital received 42% of the monthly precipitation norm, as reported by Evgeny Tishkovets, a specialist at the Phobos weather center.

The depth of the snow cover in Moscow reached 39 centimeters, setting a new record, surpassing the previous achievement from 1976, when 12.9 millimeters of precipitation was recorded.

The expert emphasized: "Such a snowy Armageddon in Moscow in the middle of winter has not been observed in the last 56 years."
