Turmush — In Bishkek, near the main building of the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, a new art installation has appeared — a sculpture of the Red Fiery Horse. This work of art symbolizes the upcoming year 2026, as reported by Turmush correspondent.

Since its installation on December 11, the figure on the parapet at the central entrance has attracted the attention of both locals and visitors to the capital. During the day, it stands out with its dynamic silhouette, while at night it is illuminated brightly, creating the impression of movement and a "jump" into the sky.

The creator of the sculpture is Nikolai Borodin, a retired employee of the KSMU, who is a master in wood and glass. Nikolai noted that creating New Year symbols has become a good tradition for the academy. Over the past six years, figures of the Bull, Rabbit, Rat, Tiger, Hare, and Dragon have been installed here.

The sculpture was made in a record five days from multilayer plywood. Its dimensions are approximately 220 centimeters in length, 120 centimeters in height, and the thickness of the structure is nearly four centimeters, ensuring its stability against strong winds. Welders and electricians from the academy also participated in the process, creating the metal frame and lighting system.

The KSMU emphasizes that the installation is the result of the joint efforts of the staff and symbolizes energy, movement, and the pursuit of progress — qualities that are associated with both the medical profession and the New Year.

This unusual art object has already gained popularity among the city's residents and, according to the academy staff, is a unique example of New Year decoration in Bishkek, created by the collective.
