Bayastan Sydykov, a 14-year-old chess player from Kyrgyzstan, became the first in the country to play in the prestigious Bundesliga of Germany. This was reported by the association of legal entities "Kyrgyz Chess Union".

He plays for the team SC Viernheim, which holds leading positions in the league and has a star-studded lineup. His team features well-known chess players such as Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Alexey Sarana, Jorden van Foreest, and Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus.

Bayastan Sydykov from Kyrgyzstan made his debut in the Bundesliga of Germany.
In the fall of 2025, Bayastan began his performances in Bundesliga-2 and has since regularly participated in matches.

On January 10, he made his debut in the main league, drawing his game, while the SC Viernheim team won against FC St. Pauli with a score of 5:3 in the 11th round.
