Liam Rozenyor, a 41-year-old coach, has been appointed as the new head of Chelsea after Enzo Maresca left the club in early January. This was officially announced by the London team.

Previously, Rozenyor worked at the French club Strasbourg, which he led to seventh place in Ligue 1, securing the club's qualification for the UEFA Conference League. Both clubs are under the management of BlueCo owners. The new contract with Rozenyor is valid until 2032.

In his first address to the fans, he emphasized the importance of team spirit and a winning mentality, adding that his main goal is to maintain Chelsea's identity and continue the tradition of winning trophies.

Rozenyor's appointment comes amid a tense situation, as Chelsea has only won one of their last eight Premier League matches. However, in their last game, the team managed to draw against Manchester City under the guidance of interim coach Calum McFarlane.

Rozenyor's first challenge will be the London derby against Fulham, after which the team will face Charlton in the FA Cup.
