President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of a large-scale personnel reboot aimed at strengthening the country's resilience.

Among the key appointments:

Kirill Budanov has become the new head of the President's Office, with his work focused on security issues and negotiations.

Oleg Ivashchenko now heads the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. Previously, he held a position in the GUR and led the Foreign Intelligence Service. A decision on a new head of the SVR will be made in the near future.

A new head of the State Border Guard Service is also expected to be appointed, with the candidate being proposed by the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Mikhail Fedorov has been proposed for the position of Minister of Defense, thanks to his achievements in the digitalization of public services and the development of the "Drone Line".

Denis Shmyhal will continue to work in the team but will head a new direction.

Additional measures:

A presidential draft law on the reform of the State Bureau of Investigations is being prepared, which will be presented to the Verkhovna Rada in January.

Pavel Palisa, Deputy Head of the President's Office, plans to hold meetings with combat brigades to discuss strengthening Ukraine's positions.

Additionally, changes in the military education system are planned, taking into account the experience of the current war.

The President emphasized that personnel changes will continue, and a meeting of security advisors with participants from Europe and the USA is scheduled for the next day.
