Russia handed over to the USA a 'controller' from a Ukrainian drone, which may prove an assassination attempt on Putin

The video recording of this meeting was posted on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. In the video, several men in foreign military uniforms can be seen, but their names and positions remain unknown. At the beginning of the meeting, Admiral Kostiukov introduced himself to the guests.

Kostiukov handed over a controller in a transparent bag to the U.S. representative, adding that this is "the controller and a description of this controller, prepared by our specialists." He noted that the provided materials are intended to "dispel all doubts and contribute to uncovering the truth."

According to the admiral, Russian intelligence services decrypted the data from the navigation controllers of the drones and concluded that the target of the attack was allegedly the building of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation in the Novgorod region.

Since December 29, Russia has claimed that Ukraine attempted to attack Vladimir Putin's residence using strike drones, which they assert were shot down. Initially, no evidence was published, and later images of drone wreckage were presented without specifying the location and time of the footage. Subsequently, the Russian side announced the decryption of the flight program, according to which, it is claimed, the drones were directed at Valdai.

Ukraine has rejected these accusations from the very beginning. It is important to note that the primary recipient of the Russian statements was the USA: on December 29, Vladimir Putin discussed the incident with U.S. President Donald Trump during a phone call. At the same time, American media, citing sources, reported that U.S. intelligence agencies, including the CIA, concluded that the Ukrainian drones were not aimed at the residence of the President of Russia and conveyed this information to the White House.
