The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, expressed serious concern regarding reports of an attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region. He noted that such events could undermine efforts for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. These words were voiced by Japarov's press secretary, Askat Alagozov.

It is worth reminding that on December 29, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the day before, there had allegedly been an attack by Ukrainian drones on Putin's residence. According to him, 91 drones were shot down, but there was no information about casualties or damage. No evidence of the guilt of the Ukrainian armed forces in this incident was provided.

Lavrov added that Russia plans to respond to this event and reconsider its position in negotiations, but Moscow does not intend to completely withdraw from the process.

In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the statements from the Russian side false. As reported by the "Interfax-Ukraine" agency, he links these accusations to recent negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump and progress in Ukrainian-American relations. Moreover, Zelensky expressed concerns that Russia may be preparing attacks on the government quarter in Kyiv.

At this moment, independent sources have not confirmed the information about the drone attack on Putin's residence.
