Starting in 2026, the team will be coached by Dmitry An, a specialist from Uzbekistan.
Dmitry, who is 51 years old, has extensive experience working with the Tashkent club "Pakhtakor," and last season held a position in the "Navbahor" academy.
Among the players trained by Dmitry An is Uzbekistan national team midfielder Abbos Faizullaev, who previously played for CSKA and is currently performing for "Istanbul Başakşehir" in the Turkish league.
He will be assisted by Timur Babakhanov, another coach from Uzbekistan.
In the previous season, "Neftchi" finished in ninth place in the Premier League. The start of the season was marked by the work of Russian Alexander Mochinov, after which the team was led by Anatoly Vlasichev from Kyrgyzstan.
