"Manchester City" signed a contract with winger Antoine Semenyo

The football club "Manchester City" has taken an important step in strengthening its squad by signing 26-year-old Ghanaian winger Antoine Semenyo, who previously played for "Bournemouth." The agreement, signed until 2031, was made possible by activating a buyout option worth £65 million, allowing the "Citizens" to outpace other contenders in the Premier League.

Semenyo has been delivering outstanding results this season: he has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists, placing him third among the league's top scorers. His versatility on both flanks of the attack will be beneficial for coach Pep Guardiola, who has players like Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Ryan Cherki, and Jérémie Doku at his disposal.

After signing the contract, Semenyo described the move to "City" as a "privilege," highlighting the club's high level, its infrastructure, and Guardiola's work. He expressed confidence that his best performances are yet to come.

Manchester City's sporting director, Hugo Viana, noted that Semenyo immediately showed a desire to be part of the team, emphasizing his speed, physical strength, and enormous potential for development.

Manchester City's next match will be in the third round of the FA Cup, where they will face "Exeter."
