In 2025, Kyrgyzstan took an important step in expanding its export capabilities by sending 23 tons of dried apricots to China. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

In the ministry, it is emphasized that this event is a significant achievement for the country, as domestic agricultural and processing products confidently hold their positions on the international stage, and the geography of exports continues to grow.

Currently, eight protocols have been agreed upon with China regarding the export of wool, cashmere, beans, as well as poultry and its by-products. Additionally, there are three protocols for thermally processed meat and leather raw materials. The first batch of dried apricots has already been successfully shipped, and preparations are underway for the export of wine, vegetable oil, and vegetables.

Work on obtaining permission to export honey to the European Union is ongoing. Meanwhile, 298 kilograms of honey from Kyrgyzstan have already been exported to the United Kingdom.

Furthermore, 144 horses have been sent to Saudi Arabia. The export of dried fruits, honey, and other processed products is actively developing through the Wildberries platform, which opens up new opportunities for digital exports.
