Production of Products. How Much Kyrgyzstan Plans to Invest in Development

Last year, 63 new facilities were successfully put into operation in the agro-industrial complex of Kyrgyzstan. Among them are trade and logistics centers and enterprises engaged in the processing of grains, vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, and wool, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
These projects contributed to the creation of 2,707 jobs in the regions and strengthened the country's production capacities. As of November 2025, the share of the food industry accounted for 17.4 percent of the total production volume in the republic, the ministry noted.

Future Plans


As part of the development program planned until 2030, the government intends to put into operation 385 processing plants. This will increase the level of agricultural product processing to 25 percent. The total investment in this direction will exceed 20.96 billion soms.

The launch of 75 new plants is scheduled for 2026, with investments in their construction and equipment amounting to 9.1 billion soms.
