In Kyrgyzstan, 63 agricultural enterprises will be established in 2025

In 2025, 63 new facilities were put into operation in Kyrgyzstan as part of the agricultural industry development program, which includes enterprises for the processing of agricultural products and trade-logistics infrastructure. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, among the new facilities are trade-logistics centers, grain processing enterprises, as well as those for processing fruits, vegetables, and the production of milk, meat, fish, wool, and vegetable oil. Organic production facilities have also been opened.

These initiatives have created 2,707 new jobs, which, in turn, contributes to the development of regions, increases employment levels, and strengthens the production capacity of the agricultural sector in the country. From January to November 2025, the share of the food industry in the total volume of industrial production was 17.4%.

According to preliminary data, for the 11 months of 2025, agricultural enterprises produced food products worth a total of 94.2 billion soms at current prices. The physical volume index was 127.8%.

As part of the development program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 and in accordance with state policy, it is planned to open 385 processing enterprises for agricultural products, which will increase the processing level to 25%. The total investment in this area will amount to 20.96 billion soms.

“In 2026, the launch of 75 new agricultural processing enterprises is planned, with an expected investment volume of 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry will continue its comprehensive efforts to achieve the set goals,” the department noted.
