During the meeting, the current state of the enterprise, the volume of produced goods, employee salary issues, social aspects, and plans for the preservation and development of the factory were discussed. Employees expressed their concerns regarding the decline in production volumes, delays in payments, and the threat of layoffs.

In this regard, it was announced that the cabinet of ministers has prepared a draft order for the payment of salary arrears for the last three months. Work is also actively underway to attract investors.

Until the production process is fully restored, factory employees will be temporarily sent on unpaid leave. Those who choose to resign voluntarily will be provided with compensation in accordance with the labor legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Bakyt Torobaev announced the creation of a special working group to restore the factory's operations and conduct an analysis aimed at diversifying production and opening new directions. He also added that all salaries will be paid by the end of January 2026.

Additionally, the Accounts Chamber will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the financial, economic, and managerial activities of the factory to improve the management system.

It was also noted that the production of incandescent lamps at the factory will be discontinued, as this type of product is no longer in demand in the global market.

Currently, the Mailuu-Suu Lamp Factory is producing various types of glass containers, including bottles, jars, and LED lamps.

It should be mentioned that the Mailuu-Suu Lamp Factory, located in the city of Mailuu-Suu in the Jalal-Abad region, was founded and put into operation in 1964. Throughout its operation, it has repeatedly changed its organizational and legal form—from a state enterprise to a joint-stock company and a limited liability company.
