- A factory for the production of synthetic yarn has successfully started operating in Kyrgyzstan, said Umbrial Temiraliyev, the general director of the Bishkek SEZ, on the radio.

Temiraliyev noted that new enterprises are also being opened, engaged in the production of carpets, cardboard, and viscose wipes for household and hygienic use.

“These products were not previously manufactured in the country, and now we can produce them,” he emphasized.

Currently, seven new production facilities have been opened in Kyrgyzstan. This year, the launch of two more factories is planned: one will focus on carpet production, and the other will produce wet wipes and baby diapers.

In addition, he added that foundations for five additional factories have already been laid: three of them are located in Kara-Balta, and two are on the territory of the Bishkek SEZ. Among the new projects is a factory for cable production and a company that will produce environmentally friendly organic paints with the participation of a Chinese investor.
