- The gross output of agricultural products over 11 months has exceeded 437 billion soms. This became known from an interview given by the first deputy minister of water resources, agriculture, and processing industry, Zhanibek Kerimaliev, on the radio.
He noted that throughout these 11 months, the country has experienced stable growth. In particular, the results of the Ministry of Agriculture's work can be characterized as positive.
Kerimaliev also added that the macroeconomic situation remains stable, and the gross output of agricultural products has reached 437 billion soms. Compared to the same period in 2024, this figure has increased by 67 billion 444 million soms, corresponding to a growth of 102%.
The first deputy minister emphasized that the production volume in the processing industry amounted to 94 billion 230 million soms, with a growth rate of 127.8%.
“This is indeed a good result. We attach special importance to processing, as it contributes to economic development and the creation of new jobs,” he said.
Kerimaliev also noted that the republic is striving not only for the sale of raw materials but also for the export of processed products. “Currently, the republic is fully self-sufficient in six main types of food products,” he added.
Overall, food security covers nine types of products, and for six of them, the republic is completely self-sufficient. There is currently no shortage of food products, which can be considered a positive factor,” he concluded.
