Modern methods of artificial insemination of cattle are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan. According to the press service of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Service under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, new equipment has been acquired to enhance livestock productivity and increase farmers' incomes.

The First Deputy Minister, Zhanibek Kerimaliev, visited the installation site of the equipment to assess the quality of the purchased tools and familiarize himself with the stages of project implementation.

This procurement was carried out as part of the World Bank initiative for the project "Development of Sustainable Agro-Food Clusters," which is being implemented through the Competitiveness Center for Agribusiness.

The sets include Dewar vessels designed for long-term storage of frozen semen, as well as specialized equipment necessary for the quality and safe conduct of artificial insemination.

The ministry emphasized that the implementation of these measures contributes to the improvement of breeding work, enhancement of the genetic potential of cattle, and sustainable development of the livestock sector.
