By the end of 2025, 63 new facilities were launched as part of the development of the country's agro-industrial complex, including the processing of agricultural products and trade-logistics infrastructure. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Among these facilities, one can highlight trade-logistics centers as well as enterprises engaged in the processing of grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meat, fish, wool, and vegetable oil, in addition to facilities specializing in organic production.

According to information provided by the press service, the implementation of these projects has led to the creation of 2,707 new jobs, which in turn contributes to improving the employment situation and the development of regions, as well as strengthening the production potential of the country's agro-industrial sector. From January to November 2025, the share of food industry enterprises accounted for 17.4% of the total industrial output of the republic.

According to preliminary data, over 11 months in 2025, the agro-industrial complex produced food products worth 94.2 billion soms at current prices, with a physical volume index of 127.8%.

According to the Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is planned until 2030, in accordance with the state policy in the agro-industrial complex, it is planned to launch 385 processing enterprises, which will allow increasing the processing level to 25%. The total investment in this sector will amount to 20.96 billion soms.

In 2026, the opening of 75 new agricultural product processing enterprises is expected, with investments estimated at 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry will continue its comprehensive work to achieve the set goals.
