Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic: By the end of 2025, 63 new enterprises have been put into operation

As a result of the activities of the agro-industrial complex, 63 new facilities began operating in the country in 2025, covering the processing of agricultural products and the development of logistics centers. These facilities include trade and logistics centers as well as enterprises engaged in the processing of grain, vegetables, and fruits, as well as the production of dairy products, meat, fish, wool, and vegetable oil. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The implementation of these projects has created 2,707 jobs, which in turn contributes to improving employment and developing the economy of the regions, as well as strengthening the production potential of the agro-industrial sector of the country. Furthermore, according to the results from January to November 2025, the share of the food industry in the total volume of industry in the republic amounted to 17.4%.

According to preliminary data, over 11 months in 2025, agro-industrial enterprises produced food products worth 94.2 billion soms. The physical volume index of production was 127.8%.

According to the Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 and in accordance with state policy in the field of agro-industrial development, it is planned to put into operation 385 processing enterprises. This will allow increasing the processing level to 25% and attracting investments amounting to 20.96 billion soms.

For 2026, the opening of 75 new agricultural product processing enterprises is planned, with an estimated investment volume of 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry intends to continue active work to achieve the set goals.
