A batch of poultry meat with antibiotic exceedance has been returned to Uzbekistan

During veterinary control at the temporary storage warehouse of the State Enterprise "TI Kant," a batch of poultry meat was found to be non-compliant with the safety standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union. Following the inspection, a decision was made to return this product to the sender, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The import of this batch of meat was carried out by the company LLC "FAYZ PARRANDA" from the Republic of Uzbekistan for LLC "TT.Top.Trade," located in Bishkek. Laboratory tests showed that the samples of meat exceeded the permissible limits for one of the veterinary drugs belonging to the group of antibiotics.

The studies were conducted by an accredited laboratory that complies with the GOST R 55481-2013 standard. This laboratory is included in the Unified Register of Accredited Laboratories of the EAEU member countries, which confirms the reliability of the obtained data.

Due to the violation of veterinary and sanitary norms and in accordance with the Decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 317, the inspectors of the State Enterprise "TI Kant" decided to return the batch of meat to the supplier.

The return process is being carried out based on veterinary certificate No. UZ 0000336, issued on December 11, 2025.

The Ministry emphasizes that control over imported products continues to ensure food safety and protect public health.
