Positive changes have occurred in the personnel composition of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. This was reported by Zhanibek Kerimaliev, the First Deputy Minister, in an interview on the radio.

Previously, there was a significant shortage of qualified personnel in the ministry, including its central apparatus. However, thanks to increased salaries and active practical activities, the problem of specialist outflow has been almost resolved.
“Work has indeed intensified, and this contributes to employee retention. The situation in the central apparatus has stabilized, although there may still be occasional cases of staff shortages in some departments,” noted Kerimaliev. He added that there is currently a particular need for specialists in the fields of breeding livestock and seed production.

Agronomists and livestock specialists play an important role in agriculture, as they assess soil conditions, livestock quality, and provide consultations on artificial insemination and other technological processes.
Kerimaliev also mentioned that within the framework of the agricultural sector development program, five key areas have been identified, one of which is related to science, education, and consultations. All training modules have already been developed, and agro-training at the local level is scheduled to begin on January 10, according to the established timetable.

During the winter period, events for agro-training and seminars for farmers will be organized throughout the country, where they can receive relevant consultations and clarifications on agricultural production issues.

Additionally, the ministry oversees four research institutes that are constantly engaged in educational and consulting activities.
Kerimaliev also noted that memorandums have been signed with the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after Skryabin, the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas," and Osh State University. All new specialists working in the regions undergo additional courses and training to improve their qualifications and optimize their work.
